User Guidelines——Automatic Movement Watches

Thank you for choosing BONEST GATTI. The timepiece you have purchased is an automatic mechanical watch, crafted with precision and excellence. To ensure its optimal performance, please follow the care instructions and precautions below:

  1. Initial Use:
    Before wearing your watch for the first time, wind it by turning the crown 30 times in a clockwise direction. If worn for more than 8 hours a day with sufficient arm movement, the watch will maintain its power reserve. For less than 8 hours of wear or limited arm movement, manual winding is recommended to replenish the power.
  2. Handle with Care:
    The movement is a delicate, high-precision mechanism. Please avoid dropping the watch or exposing it to impacts. Keep the watch away from steam and water-intensive activities such as showering or swimming. While this watch is suitable for daily activities like washing hands or face, we recommend using a professional dive watch for swimming.
  3. Avoid Magnetic Fields:
    Keep your watch away from strong magnetic fields, such as those generated by televisions, radios, or other electronic devices, as these can affect its accuracy.
  4. Chemical Exposure:
    Avoid direct contact with chemicals, including cleaning products and solvents, as they may corrode the exterior parts of your watch.
  5. Cleaning Instructions:
    Use a soft brush and mild soapy water to gently clean the metal band and case. After cleaning, dry the watch with a soft, lint-free cloth.
